Why modern warfare 2 is a bad game

Which you can hear people cuss there is two solutions to that, 1 mute everyone. Not let your kid play multiplayer. I would give it a four out of five on privacy. Overall it is good for 12 and over as long as you know your kid is very mature and won't go out and shoot someone because they did it on this game.

I would rate this game "T" thank you for reading this and get this for your kid because it is a great game! This title contains: Positive Messages. Positive role models. Kid, 10 years old October 6, Like any other CoD This game is fine.

Plus you can skip the terrorist mission because there is a screen that pops up and says "One mission may be considered to be offensive to some players. Would you like to skip it? Read my mind 1. Kid, 11 years old October 26, Amazing Game! But Violent. I got this game for Christmas back 4 years ago and I loved it! It had smoking and swearing but overall it was great!

However, in one mission you join a terrost named Makarav and help kill civilians in a russian airport as an Undercover Mission. But this level is optional. Had useful details. Teen, 13 years old Written by aceS1fter October 3, I disagree with common sense big time This game is one of the most lenient on gore and blood in the series. I need you to know if your kid want's this game the game infact lets you turn off every gory thing. I know this game is a part of the COD franchise but it is no where near as gory as you'd think.

First of all if you don't think your kids can handle intense strong swearing then you don't need to worry because this game has s words in English. It does have f words in Russian but I didn't notice any of them. Second this game is nowhere near as gory as it sounds. If you are taking damage then this game will show non realistic blood on your screen the blood is bright red and is clear like water.

You may see blood in the game but this game really needs you to focus so you have zero time to pay attention to the blood. There is indeed a mission where you get to kill civilians but you may skip it.

Infact it wasn't as gory as I thought it to be. Read my mind. Kid, 11 years old July 9, Awesome Game this game is awesome. Kid, 9 years old April 11, Kid, 11 years old April 7, Beautiful game there's a bit of language and violence but that doesn't matter please download this work of art, amazing story really sad.

Teen, 14 years old Written by PythonCode March 11, Amazing Shooter One of my favorite games, with an incredible story. Very violent, however, and yes you can become a terrorist though there is an option to skip this section if you so choose.

This title contains: Positive role models. Teen, 17 years old Written by ilhc March 8, Missions are extremely linear, as expected not for people that like exploring. Gameplays extremely fast paced. Multiplayer - this is where the game is. So don't don't play online, don't even bother getting MW2 Almost any weapon is usable and can kill. Some people say guns are overpowered, but pretty much all guns are overpowered.

For this brief stretch, you never know who's going to be a friend and who's going to be an enemy. In a game known for reckless action, it's a brief and convincing stretch of horror.

Released 11 years ago, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sequel to the original Modern Warfare , which turned the military action series into a juggernaut by shifting its attention from World War II to the present, reconfiguring its play around the technology and concerns of earlys American military culture. Recently, it got a fresh coat of paint, with Activision releasing a fully remastered version of the game's campaign on PlayStation 4, and then later on Xbox One and PC.

It's an eminently competent, well-done remaster that makes the game feel like a contemporary release. Which showcases how strange a relic of its era Modern Warfare 2 truly is. As mired in American military adoration as it is, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a game deserving of at least a little praise.

It manages to build authentic dread and disempowerment into what could have been straightforward jingoism, and in the process creates a game that reads as a satire of the early War on Terror, with the heroic frenzy of the game's early segments quickly devolving into confusion and disaster. Modern Warfare 2 had the unenviable job of crafting a sequel directly out of that narrative, and, possibly as a result of that choice, it fails to cohere as any sort of narrative.

It's a messy, ugly little game, as mesmerizing as it is infuriating. Its failure is felt most keenly in the part of the game that quickly became the most controversial: "No Russian," a short level in the first third of the game. The premise is belabored, narratively speaking, but uncomfortably simple in gameplay. You're an undercover American operative, embedded deep with a group of Russian terrorists these games, for some reason, are not big fans of Russia.

They engage in a horrific terrorist attack: a mass shooting at an airport. In order to maintain your cover, you're forced to go along with it. The game asks you to engage in the mass shooting though it doesn't punish you if you don't—it's perfectly viable to play the entire level without shooting anyone not shooting at you, which seems unintentional. It's meant to be horrific and shocking, an escalation of the disempowering sequence where a nuclear bomb detonated in the first game—a showcase of the idiocy and violence of bad foreign policy and human cruelty in general.

But "No Russian" just … doesn't … work. With the amazing filters that they have you can almost comepletely eliminate the blood, and the profanity.

With that gone the game is now rated teen. This game portrays role models of American C. A agents and British S. All these people are fighting for thier country, and slowly along the course of the game you start to realize how horrific war is, sending a strong antiwar message. Parts of this game are sad and moving, with the entire game being incredibly in depth as far as world powers like Russia and Euope go. In parts it requires you to have good problem solving skills and an understanding of government.

Gone is the time where you just go to play a game to kill, now you actually have to think about what exactaly you're going to do. As far as profanity and violence goes there is some, but only with the innapropriate material filter off, and it's easy to go under the options menu and adjust that. Overall this game it good for teens who can understand government and strategy. This title contains: Educational Value.

Positive Messages. I wouldn't say its that bad. Your probably thinking I pulled a longshot by making this suitable for 8 year olds but hear me out. This game is probably better than the newer CoDs. Less violence, less swearing all that. I'd say its good for mature 8 or over.

Again, as long as they understand shooting people is wrong. Adult Written by Gladiator to ps4 August 2, Not only sutible but amazing. Adult Written by Citlaly75 July 16, Adult Written by Andy mulligan December 26, Over 12 It is a very old game.

The graphics are not as good as games today because it is old but is still good. The game is violent but every game is. You cannot find an online game anymore so is good if you want freinds over to play split screen. Very good recommend for your kids. Adult Written by Johanes W. November 30, Easy to give game if you are not a strict parent This review Adult Written by Sam M. November 16, Spec Ops co op was a nice addition.

MP was expanded altho i didnt perfer it. To much stuff impressively expanded but at times unbalanced killstreaks, perk combinations jumbled together made everything feel like a poorly thought out crapshoot. Blood splatters near constant and similar to previous game but sometimes enemies crawl away leaving a trail of blood and always leave a medium sized pool. Mamy levels have bloody bodies strewn abpit especially the infamous No Russian mission oceans of it as well as warzones in the US.

Scripted moments such as a car dashpoard painted with blood and brains after a shot to driver. First person throat slittings yield much blood. Memorable stabbing followed with knife to eye Slow motion breaches emphasize splatters.

No gore though. Adult Written by Tamaroa S. February 28, But on November 10, , one game came out and shattered its competition. This elite first-person shooter depicts three different play styles fitted to your enjoyment: heroic single player that allows adjusted difficulty, intense fast-paced multiplayer with an arsenal of various maps, and SpecOps, filled with missions from single player that provide helpful insight to improve your skills and motion.

First and foremost, Modern Warfare 2 has an incredible single player, ranging from settings and situations in the fast-paced Favela in Rio de Janeiro, the grimy and mucky deserted roads of Afghanistan, and the simple, luxurious mansion and surrounding nature of Estate. The main story line is a covert operation turns bad in Russia, as a US CIA agent is shot dead, and Russia and her people felt that the assault in Terminal was caused by the US, ultimately leading to many bystanders in the airport killed.

War begins and Russia attacks the US, a large portion of the illustrious campaign is it takes after the officers safeguarding the US, as the other half its takes after Task Force attempt to discover the individual responsible, and to end the war. Sergeant Price and his crew are lead in Brazil, only to discover nothing. They attempt to end the war by gaining intel, as Russia is planning an attack on the States.

An EMP electromagnetic pulse grenade was adequately constructed and used to finish off the Russian attacks, and the rest of the Russians are moped up in Washington. They find his secluded, personal estate, where Shepard kills two in the group. The explanation for this? So Shephard can utilize winning the war as a boost to lift his status and rank. In the meantime, Soap and Price are in different leads, as they get some answers for the killings and do everything in their power to take Shephard down.
